Due to the harsh environment of the medical facility, it is important to know the material your mayo stand is constructed from.  The material must stand up to cleaning and disinfecting on a regular basis.  Ensure you choose 304 grade stainless steel, as this one is made out of,  to ensure your stand does not rust or corrode.  This style is fully welded which ensure there are no cavities to collect unwanted substances, and also provides superior strength and longevity.  The base is an epoxy coated weighted base to provide a sturdy stand for your needs.

There are 2 different tray sizes available for this Space Saving Mayo Stand.  The trays are 304 grade stainless steel and easily remove for cleaning.  The smallest is 12 5/8″ x 19 1/8″ which is used in small cases or where space is tight.  The medium size is 16 1/4″ x 21 1/4″ and is the most popular size.  It is a great balance between size and functionality.   These 2 sizes meet most needs in the medical environments they are used in.

The thumb knob is a great fool-proof way to adjust the stand.  To raise or lower the tray, simply support the tray with one hand and loosen the knob with the other.  Set the tray to the desired height and then tighten the knob.  It is not recommended to adjust the height with an items on the tray, they could fall and it also adds weight to the tray and makes it more difficult to adjust.

This Space Saving Mayo Stand has a 16″ diameter weighted epoxy coated base that is resistant to corrosion.  The weighted base is available in up to 5 standard colors at no additional charge so you can easily departmentalize your stands.  The 16″ diameter base helps save space and yet is is weighted to ensure that the stability is not compromised.  The wheel are 3″ non-marking neoprene to make it easy to transport as well as protect the floors in your facility.
